About MeHi, I'm Eric Bayless. Born and raised in Sparta, IL. I have a B.S. in computer engineering, and worked in healthcare IT for 5 years out of college. At that point, I felt like I was on the wrong path, and so I quit my job, sold almost everything I owned, and went to China in search of some adventure. After 6 months exploring Asia, I returned to my hometown where I now coach cross country, and train and race long distance triathlon. I have developed a passion for endurance athletics, and everything that it can teach us about mindfulness and overcoming obstacles in our everyday lives.
